Our buying team recently jetted off to New York City for market, and between showroom appointments and finding the perfect new pieces for Cabana, we made time to explore the best of what the city has to offer. From where we stayed to what we sipped, here’s the inside scoop on our Cabana-approved NYC favorites.

Where We Stayed 🏨

Refinery Hotel
Chic, central, and oh-so-Cabana, the Refinery Hotel was the perfect home base for our trip. Just steps from Bryant Park, the hotel blends industrial charm with modern luxury and even has a rooftop bar with incredible views of the city.

Where We Ate 🍽️

Bad Roman – A must if you’re craving Italian with a playful twist. Between the creative cocktails and pasta dishes you’ll dream about later, it’s a dinner that feels like an experience.

The Boathouse at Central Park – A classic NYC spot. Sitting lakeside with a glass of wine, watching the rowboats drift by, is the kind of pinch-me moment that never gets old.

House of the Red Pearl – Hidden inside the Tin Building at the Seaport, this gem feels like a secret supper club with an atmosphere as memorable as the food.

Grand Central Oyster Bar – An iconic spot tucked beneath the arches of Grand Central. Fresh oysters and a bustling vibe make it the perfect mid-day stop.

Where We Got Coffee ☕

Ralph’s Coffee – Chic, classic, and Ralph Lauren through and through. A latte here feels like the most stylish way to start the day.

Cha Cha Matcha – Fun, vibrant, and so photogenic. The matcha creations are delicious, and the café’s pink-and-green palette is perfectly on brand for Cabana.

Parker & Quinn – Located in the Refinery Hotel, this cozy spot became our go-to for morning cappuccinos and a little pre-market fuel.

Where We Sipped Cocktails 🍸

The Plaza – Because when in New York, sipping a cocktail at the iconic Plaza Hotel feels timeless and elegant.

Winnie’s Jazz Bar – Live jazz, craft cocktails, and a moody vibe that made us want to stay all night.

Sir Henry’s – A cozy, tucked-away bar that feels like your own stylish hideout in the middle of the city.

Where We Shopped 🛍️

The West Village – A charming neighborhood filled with boutiques, unique shops, and plenty of inspiration around every corner.

Fifth Avenue Window Shopping – A true New York tradition. Even if you don’t step inside, the window displays and legendary stores are a feast for the eyes.

Bleecker Street – Chic shops, designer finds, and a little bit of classic New York magic all in one stroll.

From coffee runs to market days and evenings filled with great food, our trip to NYC was packed with inspiration. And trust us, the pieces we picked out for Cabana are just as fabulous as the places we visited!
